Transaction Brokerage

When machinery or production assets must be bought or sold, Capital Equipment Advisors provides structured transaction support grounded in documentation discipline and market realism.

Our role is not promotion.

Our role is clarity.

Scope of Services

Transaction advisory engagements are defined by written scope and may include:

Market Pricing Validation

Review of current market data, recent comparable activity where available, and realistic pricing ranges aligned with condition, configuration, and exposure time.

Counterparty Qualification

Assessment of buyer or seller readiness, documentation completeness, and transaction capability prior to engagement progression.

Negotiation Support

Structured review of offers, terms, assumptions, and risk allocation.

CEA provides analysis and positioning support; final decisions remain with the client.

Documentation Coordination

Coordination of asset schedules, serial number verification, condition summaries, and transaction documentation alignment.

Execution Planning

Sequencing of inspections, payment terms, removal logistics, and transfer milestones to reduce operational disruption.

Buyer Representation

For buyers, CEA may provide:

• Independent evaluation of seller representations

• Condition verification coordination

• Pricing discipline and exposure analysis

• Risk identification prior to capital commitment

Seller Representation

For sellers, CEA may provide:

• Market positioning guidance based on observable demand

• Realistic pricing parameters

• Counterparty vetting

• Structured transaction flow management

CEA does not take title to equipment and does not operate as a principal in transactions.

Role Separation & Professional Standards

Capital Equipment Advisors maintains strict separation between appraisal engagements and brokerage representation.

When acting as an appraiser, CEA does not advocate for transaction outcomes and operates in conformity with USPAP ethics and independence requirements.

If separate brokerage or advisory services are requested involving previously appraised assets, role boundaries and disclosures are defined in writing prior to engagement.

Important Limitations

CEA provides advisory and coordination services only.

CEA does not:

• Guarantee transaction completion

• Guarantee resale price

• Provide financing approval

• Provide legal or tax advice

• Certify regulatory compliance

All transaction outcomes depend on market conditions, exposure time, asset condition, and counterparty performance.

When Transaction Brokerage Is Appropriate

• Sale of surplus or redeployed equipment

• Strategic asset divestiture

• Facility consolidation or liquidation planning

• Targeted asset acquisition outside dealer channels

• Specialty or limited-market equipment requiring disciplined exposure
